fettes fine art (formerly The Auld Kirk Gallery) was founded in 1991 with the unique intention of showcasing original fine Scottish and Modern British Art in a home environment rather than the traditional gallery space. Now, more than 25 years later, major auction houses regarded as the top of the retail market are adopting the same approach to encourage fiercer bidding.

The advantage of the private gallery concept over a traditional auction house is the opportunity to peruse and purchase artworks at your leisure, all of which have been carefully selected for their quality and value.

fettes fine art is open exclusively by appointment, which enables the art lover to enjoy a more relaxed and private viewing experience. We also offer a luxury bespoke art consultation service, where any works that are of interest can be delivered, hung, and enjoyed for an agreed period without any obligation to purchase.
